Photo From Emoji is built so the photo you choose and the emoji result stay in your browser. This page describes the private preview as it works today.

Your photos

When you select a photo, your browser decodes it, draws the mosaic, and creates the PNG download locally. We do not send the original image, its pixels, its filename, or the generated result to our server. We do not save your photo to browser storage. Closing the page or choosing another photo releases temporary image data.

Site visits

The hosting service serves this website and may process normal request information such as an IP address, browser details, and requested pages to operate and secure the site. On production pages, when configured, we use Google Analytics 4 to measure visits and Microsoft Clarity to understand interactions through analytics and session replay. These services may receive page URLs, browser information, and interaction data and may use cookies. We mask your selected photo, its filename, and the generated result from Clarity recordings. Analytics is disabled in local development and on localhost.

Sample photos

The sample photos are bundled with the site. Selecting one downloads that sample file from our site into your browser, where it is processed in the same way as your own photo.

Changes and questions

This notice may change when the site moves to a public domain or new services are introduced. The contact page will carry the current way to reach the site owner.
